The new Turkish horror madness that is otherwise known as BASKIN has just released a new trailer for the film, and it’s dripping wet with dread. Directed by first time feature length helmer Can Evrenol, this hellish fever dream is not only an achievement in exploitation terror, but also a success in thematically creating a fluid cinematic dream, that always feels connected to the plot, even at its most insane moments. It’s definitely worth checking out, as long as you can stomach it.
In the film, a small squad team responds to a call that leads them to an abandoned building in the middle of nowhere. On the road to the building, the car spins out of control and lands in the river, leaving the men abandoned and vulnerable to whatever entity might be lurking in the shadows nearby.
